Do I need to be present for the cleaning?

No, you do not need to be present for the cleaning as long as we have access to the property.

Do I need to give you a key or a code to access our home for recurring cleanings?

That is entirely up to the homeowner. Our top priority is to make sure our clients are at peace of mind.  We house many keys and codes for homes of our clients.  If we lose or misplace your house key, we take full responsibility by having your home rekeyed!  Some of our customers have a designated place in which the key is housed on the property for our agents to access their homes on the day of service.  Again, we leave this decision up entirely to our customers.

How will I know when my next scheduled cleaning is?

We send invoices out to all of our clients. Your next appointment will be on your invoice.  We understand life gets busy so we send out text reminders the day before to remind our clients of their upcoming service. If you are unable to keep the appointment, this gives you time to reschedule your service. Any appointments that are not confirmed, and we do not have a key or code to access the home, will be cancelled.  This allows us to not charge any cancelation fees. 

Are you insured?

We are licensed, insured both Liability and Workman’s Compensation, and all agents are bonded.  Documents are provided upon hire for your verification and records.  We recommend that before hiring any cleaning company or any company to work on or in your home that you verify policies with insurance companies as these documents could no longer be valid or fake.

Do you clean under the furniture?

We clean under all furniture that we can access without moving your furniture (unless otherwise requested).

How do you accept payment?

We will send you an invoice via email which will allow you to make your payment online through a checking account on a secure site, or we accept cash or check.  All credit card payments are assessed a 2.9% fee of the total amount charged.

Payments must be made in full prior to or the day of the service. 

Please note that any return check will result in a $40.00 NSF fee.

Do I need to provide the chemicals?

We provide the following chemicals: 

All chemicals used in your home during the Covid19 pandemic are CDC (Centers of Disease Control and Prevention) approved and required for sanitizing and cleaning purposes. We use:

  • Lysol Disinfectant,
  • Cleaning Vinegar/Peroxide mix,
  • Simple Green Pro3, and
  • Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner.

These are standard chemicals for the Queens Own Pros and are always used in your home. 

Please note that these chemicals are mixed according to the CDC guidelines to help kill Covid19 bacteria. Customers will be responsible for providing any special chemicals or product that we do not have listed to be used in their home.

Do I need to provide equipment?

When cleaning, we use:

  • Hepa 3 system filtration backpack vacuum 
  • Microfiber dusters
  • Microfiber rags
  • Microfiber mirror rags
  • Microfiber changeable mop heads 
  • Dust mops.

Customers will be responsible for providing any special equipment for residential services that we do not have listed to be used in their home. 

Is there anything I need to do before the team arrives to service our home?

If you have children in the home, please make sure that all toys are picked up throughout your home, including in the bathtubs. This rule also applies for those that have pets.  This helps us to keep your bill down, by allowing us to focus on your home.

I live in a two-story house but I do not need the entire home cleaned, every cleaning. Are you able to assist me?

This is a common practice for many of our clients.  We do offer customized cleaning packages built for your service needs, as well as add-in services as they are needed.
